Building Resilient Minds through
Consulting & Public Speaking

For many years, I was told what I was capable of. They were wrong.
My purpose is to break the stigma and be a mental health champion!

My life has been full of adventure in many forms - excitement, accomplishment, failure, heartache, reaching the top and hitting rock bottom. I have overcome every obstacle thrown in my path - words that molded my thoughts and beliefs about myself, physical injuries and limitations, destruction from Mother Nature herself, and even a little bit of first-hand experience with death. Through my experiences, rehabilitation, and perseverance, I have learned many valuable lessons that have brought me to where I am today and helped me find my purpose in life.
I am alive today to share my stories and help others reach the other side of the storm.

August 4, 2025, I had the great honor to be invited to be the key note speaker at the Barb Smith Suicide Resource and Response Network "Walk for Hope" at Saginaw Valley State University. I talked about how it takes a community and team work to achieve goals and to get through hard times.
You got this.

On September 22, 2024, at the Diag in Ann Arbor, I spoke at Entheofest and told my story about how psilocybin helps me overcome my mental health obstacles. Entheofest is a free speech event celebrating sacred plant/fungi medicine. This is an annual event commemorating the anniversary of Ann Arbor's resolution to decriminalize entheogen plants and fungi.

I presented at Delta College about setting S.M.A.R.T goals. Setting goals is an easy thing to accomplish, but achieving said goals can be difficult. Learning how to set S.M.A.R.T goals builds a foundation and a plan for how to achieve goals.
I presented in front of the Delta College Board of Trustees about my accomplishments and the success of the mental health fair, along with my personal story and why mental health is important. My goal for this speech was to break the stigma and educate others about mental health and suicide awareness.

The Green Ribbon Initiative: Mental Health, Let's talk about it.
This was a presentation of the student-led Green Ribbon Initiative being implemented at Delta College. The goal of this initiative is to generate discussion of mental health among students, staff, and faculty, and bring awareness to mental health resources on campus and in the community. The presenters shared the inspiration behind the initiative, along with an overview of what has been done so far and what is being planned for future semesters.
